Volunteering
Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the clinic and help make our patients' visit more enjoyable. Almost every department is in need of volunteers to assist with specific tasks. Some of the areas where volunteers can work are:
- Clerical
- Appointment Reminders
- Drivers
- Education Service
- Escort Service
- Information Desk
- Pharmacy
- Dental
- Special Events
Donations
Community resources help extend services and program potential. Unlike other facility services, VAVS relies almost entirely on donated support to carry out its purpose: to provide supplemental assistance to the VA and its patients. If you would like to support this program, all monetary & material donations should be submitted through the Volunteer Office Program Manager. Please contact us with questions.
We will be happy to receive your application or discuss how you can help us in our mission to provide comfort and care to America's veterans.
