Volunteer or Donate

Community resources help extend services and program potential. Unlike other facility services, Voluntary Services relies almost entirely on donated support to carry out its purpose: “to provide supplemental assistance to the VA and its patients.”

If you would like to support this program, all monetary & material donations should be submitted through the Voluntary Services Coordinator. Please contact us with questions. We will be happy to receive your volunteer application or discuss how you can help us in our mission to provide comfort and care to America's Veterans.

New Service! E-Donate

Simple. Speedy. Safe. The new E-Donate service now available on-line allows
community members who wish to give back to Veterans a quick, safe way to
pledge their support. Through E-Donate, donors can select from a number of
funds at the medical center they wish to make contributions.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs administrative costs are appropriated so
donors can be 100 percent certain their donations will go directly to the funds
and Veteran patients they select.

Donors can make a donation through the secure E-Donate site. Donations can
be made by credit or debit card. The actual donation is made through a secure
site at the U.S. Department of Treasury's Pay.gov site. A minimum of $5 is
required for online donation. There are no additional fees.

Available volunteer positions!

Student Volunteers

Our Student Volunteers are an invaluable asset to our facility. Student volunteers gain valuable work experience and can even use their volunteer hours to gain community service credit towards graduation. After only 100 hours of volunteering, eligible students can also compete for the James H. Parke Youth Scholarship award. Sign up now!

Volunteer Transportation

Some of the Veterans we serve are unable to obtain transportation to their medical appointments for a variety of different reasons. Our Volunteer Transportation Network provides a much needed service to Veterans who otherwise would not be able to make it to their appointments.

Serving as a Volunteer Driver helps to ensure our Veterans have every opportunity to see their healthcare provider. Yes, I'd Like to Drive!
